Drakenscroll

Because when you see that dragon, you know it's strong and solid.

The hearth is cold. Choose how you would like to be received — and the fire, the sound, and the story will rise to meet you.

Either door turns the sound on. Change it whenever you like.

The Living Sigil

The Long Memory

The house keeps a long memory. Leave an address and you hear of new voices, new instruments and new work before the world does. No course, no call, no salesman.

The sleeping shelf

The Backlist Rite

Most authors do not have one book. They have a shelf of them, sleeping — finished, paid for in years of work, and earning nothing. The Rite wakes the whole shelf at once, under one charter and one schedule, with one voice and one look across every title so book five never sounds like a stranger to book one.

  • One charter, one schedule, one voice and one look across the whole shelf.
  • The set rate falls as the shelf grows — three titles, five titles, eight and beyond.
  • Titles are forged in the order you name them, and each is delivered as it is finished.
  • Half opens the Rite; the balance falls when the last title stands.
  • A set rate is not a Boon. It never stacks with one, and it is never negotiated.

The shelf
