This is what your novel looks like
Not a trailer. Not a cover reveal. The whole work performed — every chapter, cast, scored and cut as cinema. It is called a film book, and most authors have never seen one, which is the only reason they have never wanted one.
Now put your own book in
These are the house's published rates, not an estimate and not a bracket. A film book is 12% of the word count. An audio book is 7%. A novel-game is banded, steepest at the front where the machinery is built once. Type your count; the arithmetic happens in front of you.
The film book
$8,400
The whole novel performed as cinema — cast, score, sound and picture, chapter to chapter.
See the film bookThe audio book
$4,900
A full cast recording of the same work, built to the standard the storefronts ask for.
See the audio bookThe novel-game
$35,000
Your novel made walkable — one gate to a chapter, the reader inside the story instead of above it.
See the novel-gameThe matching audio book edition rides with a film book at 33% of the film book production — $2,772 on the figure above.
If your purse holds nothing at all
Then take the free road, which is a real road. Twenty-four instruments in the Workshop cost nothing and never will — runtime, casting, pacing, blurbs, front matter, a voice cloned from your own throat. Complete all twenty-four and you earn the Seal, and the Seal is what lets you enter the Drakenscroll Prize, where the Open Door bracket is free to enter and wins three motion graphic illustrations of your work.
When you are ready to be exact
The Forge takes you station by station — voices, sound, score, the bench, the terms — and ends in a sealed Charter with a figure you can hold. Nothing is taken until you seal it, and a withdrawn Charter returns half of monies paid, work done or not.
