Because when you see that dragon, you know it's strong and solid.

The hearth is cold. Choose how you would like to be received — and the fire, the sound, and the story will rise to meet you.

Either door turns the sound on. Change it whenever you like.

The Long Memory

The house keeps a long memory. Leave an address and you hear of new voices, new instruments and new work before the world does. No course, no call, no salesman.

The Cast List

A book does not have characters. It has voices. Lay a scene down and this bench names every one that speaks, weighs the part by how much it carries, and tells you plainly how many voices your build truly needs — before you ever reach the third station of the Forge.

The scene

The bench reads dialogue tags — "said Maren", "Maren answered" — and follows an exchange between two voices even when the tags fall away. Nothing you paste here leaves this browser.

Voices are billed in blocks of two at 1% of your word count each, and the block always rounds up. The narrator is counted as a voice of their own, because they are.

The company

Lay a scene in the panel and your company will assemble here, strongest part first.
